Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee: How To Catch Bulbasaur, Squirtle And Charmander

Despite being a re-imagination of the Generation 1 line of games, Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee has a number of changes that ultimately allow it to distinguish itself from it’s source material. Noticeable from the get go is that you no longer have a choice on what starter Pokemon you wish to begin your humble journey with. The famous starters Bulbasaur, Squirtle and charmander are not selectable at the beginning, instead you will receive either Eevee or Pikach depending on which respective version you purchased.

However, if you wish to have the famous starter squad in your team, there are opportunities to catch them in the wild. In this article we will concisely detail where to catch Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander.

Bulbasaur: Bulbasaur can be found roaming in Viridian Forest

Charmander: Charmander can be found roaming at Route 3 and 4

Squirtle: Squirtle can be found route roaming at Route 24, 25 and Seafoam islands

Unfortunately, the starter squad are rare encounters and it is certainly possible that it may take hours before the appear. However, there is an unproven theory that having a high catch combo count increases the likelihood of rare Pokemon. Again this is an unproven theory and I can’t give you an exact number, but what you need to is to chain catch the same Pokemon until you have a combo count. Once you have a combo count, use Max Lure to increase your odds and search the respective areas to find Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle.
