Super NES Classic Sells Over 300000 units in Japan

The Super Nintendo Entetainment System Classic appears to be a smash hit in the land of the rising.  Japanese publication Famitsu reports that the SNES classic has sold approximately 368,913 units in the first four day in the market.

The launch of the retro system is very respectable and can only be considered as a success.

In comparison, the NES classic sold 262, 000 units in the first 4 days respectively. The NES Classic was mired with shortages due to limited production of the system. Nintendo has promised this will not be the case with the SNES classic with production scheduled to continue through to 2018. If you happen to miss the opportunity to grab an SNES there will be plenty of opportunity in the near feature.
