Pokemon GO: Legendary Mewtwo Will Begin To Appear In Exclusives Raid

The promise of capturing the legendary Pokemon – Mewtwo – will soon be fulfilled with the announcement that the clone Pokemon will soon begin to appear in regions across the globe.

Mewtwo made it’s world debut today in Pokemon Go, appearing at Yokahoma Stadium Japan with thousands of trainer grabbing the opportunity to capture the legendary.  Niantic has revealed that Mewtwo will begin to appear for other regions in the new feature – Exclusive Raids.

To be invited to an Exclusive raid, trainers need to have recently participated and defeated a Raid Boss in a Gym where the Exclusive Raid will be held. Once the conditions have been met, the player will be given an invitation to participate in the Exclusive raid. Niantic has reassures that will advance warning will be given so that trainers can coordinate and be well prepared to capture.

Niantic has also announced that Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Lugia will once again be available to trainers for a 2 week period.

Over the past three weeks, thousands of Legendary Pokémon have been defeated in Raid Battles around the world. In celebration of this achievement and to give Trainers another chance to catch Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and Lugia, all four of these Legendary Pokémon can be battled in Raid Battles from August 14 through August 31. Be on the lookout for these Legendary Pokémon at a raid near you!
